Fleming County is BIG. Their QB is around 6'5 290lb, their FB is 6'1 310lb and their C is 6'6 330lbs. They are mobile though, the QB has a nice touch on the ball and the back are pretty shifty. They had Harrison County beat in their opener at the Rec Bowl but lost it towards the ends. This will be another big challenege for district seeding.

Do they have any speed?

Overall team speed is pretty fast. The QB is above average in speed and the FB is not so fast but a hoss to pull down. He also plays DT. The QB just sits back and throws passes and looks pretty good doing that, he will run if he is flushed out.

Here's a little info according to the 2008 Cats' Pause on Fleming Co. Their QB is a junior returning from last year, with a junior returning at offensive guard who is 6-1, 245 lbs and also one of the region's best punters. They have 4 seniors, and 1 junior tackle who is 6-2, 300 pounds, returning on defense. It says they have 7 starters back on BOTH offense and defense.

 

Just FYI, Cawood beat Fleming Co. at Cawood last year, although it was a hard fought game. I think Fleming County's QB got sacked about 4 times in that game if memory serves. I know it's a whole new story this year, but kind of gives an idea...
