They didnt dominate the game, but once again Grant let stupid penalties get in the way.

Western Hills played nice, but Grant was 3 or 4 plays away from a completely different game. And yes, unfortunately too many of them involved the yellow laundry.

Hills did dominate the game. Grant was unable to get anything going due to the defense of the Wolverines. Credit needs to be given were credit is due!!!

Not to take anything away from Western Hills and Coach Miller but Grant out gained WH 238 to 168. WH had 168 yards of offense and one play went for 65 yards. I would not call that dominating. I wll say that Grant kept beating themselves with the stupid penalties and mistakes. Western Hills is much better than last year and bottom line they beat Grant at home, but Grant did not help themselves. Grant's defense did a good job after being put in bad situations, the offense sputtered in the redzone and special teams did not help the cause. 2 roughing the kicker penalties killed Grant's chance of getting any momentum.

Not to get stuck on an issue, but there has to be a certain degree of domination when you keep a team out of the endzone for the entire game. That said, both teams have things to work on. I believe that Grant will go on to win some games this year. It will be an interesting measuring stick for them when they play Anderson this week.
