Final, Impressive win for the 2-0 Eagles. Next Cov. Cath and maybe a does of reality. Congrats Eagles for your first 2-0 start in school history.

Reyes had close to 200 all purpose yards and 3 Touchdowns.

It sounds like the new Scott coach has them going in the right direction. Congrats to the Eagles.

Good for Scott High. Certainly Walton-Verona and Dayton are no world-beaters, but when a program has struggled for so long like Scott has, any success is good success! Best wishes against CovCath in a couple weeks.

Way to go boys. Now start preparing for Cov. Cath. because I know one coach that is going to want to blow the Eagles out. Work hard and maybe suprise some people in 2 weeks. Get some work done over the bye week to get ready for the first home game of the year.

I couldn't be happier for those kids they deserve it. They work hard and in two weeks the game should be fun with a few old coaches on the other sideline.

This isn't the first 2-0 start for the Eagles in school history but it is the first time in nine or ten years. Great job men keep it going.

Good solid win for the Eagles. Jacob Reyes had three touchdowns, two rushing and one recieving. Had to easily have had 200+ total yards for the evening. Kyle Bruner had a very physical touchdown run bouncing off defenders for an impressive score. Scott was up 28-0 before letting up a long touchdown pass on 4th and long late in the game.

Good start for the Eagles!

Doesn't seem to have done much. Congrats Eagles.

Is Dayton that far down this year from last year?

What happened to Michael Richardson? Wasn't he suppose to be big for Dayton?

I do have a gripe with the Dayton setup last night at the game. The Scott players were stationed on the shallow sidelines between the stands and the field. Not much room to operate in there to start with, but the cheerleaders for Dayton were put in position right in the middle. I was in the stands before the game when a Dayton football coach asked the cheerleader (coach) to please go to one side or the other of the players. Scott cheerleaders were off to the side and out of the way. The Dayton cheerleader (coach) decided to plant the cheerleaders right in the middle of that congested area between the players and the stands.

I thought it was really poor sportsmanship. It made sideline communication difficult. It caused a distraction on the sidelines. It created an unfair disadvantage for the visitors. I think it looked bad on the host school and the way they do business.

Nothing against cheerleading, I think it is a very fun part of the game. It's part of what makes Friday nights fun. I just thought this was a little poor sportsmanship...

Good win for Scott.

Dayton didnt even come out with the starters until second quarter most were sidelined do to not showing up to practice so that forced Michael to have to play guard for the first quarter and his foot got stepped on and he left for the wrest of the game with a hurt ankle good showing by Scott though Dayton did settle down in the second quarter not allowing a score I just hope they play better or it could get ugly this week against BW

go Devils!!!!:fire:
