September 6, 200818 yr All she said was she put it on eBay, she said nothing about it selling on eBay.Jinx.
September 6, 200818 yr Author She told the nation she "put" it on ebay...not sold it. And there lies the problem....more Bush like half truths. The old "just tell them enough, but never the entire truth.
September 6, 200818 yr Remember that cute little story about how St. Sarah put the jet on E Bay ? Turns out it wasn't true. Fact is she put it on E Bay and it didn't sell so she sold it later to a walk up buyer for a 600,000.00 loss. Her boss, Mc Bush told a crow today she made money on it. Nothing earthshaking, but if you're on the fence you have to wonder why she would fib about it. If I were on the fence, there would be a lot of other things to wonder about besides this. Like, why did/does Obama vote "present" so frequently? Why hasn't a guy who's authored two memoirs penned a piece of legislation? It seems to me that the face of change in America hasn't done that much.
September 6, 200818 yr And there lies the problem....more Bush like half truths. The old "just tell them enough, but never the entire truth. You are making zero sense in this argument. I mean, come on, you don't really even have a point. She did exactly what she said she did. EOS.
September 6, 200818 yr And there lies the problem....more Bush like half truths. The old "just tell them enough, but never the entire truth. You are missing the big picture. She campaigned that she was going to sell the jet because it wasn't necessary...Alaska doesn't own the jet anymore...she filled her promise to the Alaskan people.

Present votes are used in Chicago State Politics because there is something in a bill or missing in a bill that you do not agree with. Usually these bills are voted down, re written and re submitted. And he has authored bills on loose nukes and lobby reform......study up.
September 6, 200818 yr And there lies the problem....more Bush like half truths. The old "just tell them enough, but never the entire truth. I think you meant Obama like half truths: http://www.factcheck.org/elections-2008/factchecking_obama.html Obama said he could “pay for every dime” of his spending and tax cut proposals “by closing corporate loopholes and tax havens.” That’s wrong – his proposed tax increases on upper-income individuals are key components of paying for his program, as well. And his plan, like McCain’s, would leave the U.S. facing big budget deficits, according to independent experts. He twisted McCain’s words about Afghanistan, saying, “When John McCain said we could just 'muddle through' in Afghanistan, I argued for more resources.” Actually, McCain said in 2003 we “may” muddle through, and he recently also called for more troops there. He said McCain would fail to lower taxes for 100 million Americans while his own plan would cut taxes for 95 percent of “working” families. But an independent analysis puts the number who would see no benefit from McCain’s plan at 66 million and finds that Obama’s plan would benefit 81 percent of all households when retirees and those without children are figured in. Obama asked why McCain would "define middle-class as someone making under five million dollars a year"? Actually, McCain meant that comment as a joke, getting a laugh and following up by saying, "But seriously ..." Obama noted that McCain’s health care plan would "tax people’s benefits" but didn’t say that it also would provide up to a $5,000 tax credit for families I don't think any of the 4 candidates has an abundance of honesty.

Actually, McBush's health care plan would add your personal or employee provided health care cost to your gross income. If you're employee pays say 5000.00 for your health care and you earn 50,000. your new gross income is 55,000.00 and you can deduct 2400.00. In addition, you still pay your deductibles and out of pocket cost that your plan does not cover.

By phrasing things like "McBush" & "Bush like half truths", you are showing that your true intentions are to try and discredit anything coming from the Republican party. You are so blinded by your hatred for them, that you refuse to see the truth when it is right in front of you, and posts like the one's you are offering up on here are nothing more than the same left wing fertilizer we can get from MSNBC, CNN, NBC, CBS, and a host of other venues. Your arguments for your side would hold more water if they had more facts and less emotion.
September 6, 200818 yr And there lies the problem....more Bush like half truths. The old "just tell them enough, but never the entire truth. Just curious on a Bush half truth and a Clinton downright lie like "I did not have sexual relations with that women."
September 6, 200818 yr Like I said, "Nothing Earthshaking" but adds to her credibility problem. If you are getting you info from the huffingtonpost then it isn't Palin's credibility we need to be questioning.
September 6, 200818 yr Her boss, Mc Bush told a crow today she made money on it. Did you notice the crow's reaction to see if it was impressed or not?

Unless you're like Birdsfan who feels you only get credit if you're the SOLE author Sen. Obama has penned legislation. Now back to the silliness.

Or the numerous left-wingers on here who feel Palin deserves no credit for her speech since she did not actually write it herself . . .
