Correct me if I'm wrong, but JFK didn't have much, if any, executive experience either.

 

 

Abraham Lincoln had no executive experience, John Q. Adams had no executive experience, and neither did James Madison.

 

These men turned out to be memorable leaders because of the time they lived. Kennedy-The Cuban Missile Crisis and Cold War

James Madison-The War of 1812

Lincoln-The American Civil War

Combine this with Kennedy and Lincoln being martyred(sp) due to being assassinated and they are endeared as the greatest of the great. Im just saying that these were simply humans in the same vein as OBama and Palin. We'll see where history takes them!

Barack Obama would have more experience than Abraham Lincoln had when he was inaugurated. Considering his image adorns coinage, paper money, and Mount Rushmore, Lincoln seems to have done ok.

 

Lincoln - Lawyer, Illinois state legislature (8 yrs), U.S. House of Representatives (2 yrs)

 

Obama - Lawyer, Illinois state legislature (8 yrs), U.S. Senate (4 yrs)
