Yes CCH does have a very big and experienced offensive line this year. That being said, it looked like it was there first varsity play from scrimmage each and every down last week. I look for the CCH offense in particular to challenge themselves and rise to the occasion. I hope that the play-calling does as well. I just feel like at this point the sad truth is that it does not matter how big or experienced you are if the offensive line did not do the job in the weightroom and in the preparing an effective blocking scheme. Trust me when I say I have personal ties with the CCH football program and the line may be big but they have yet to prove they are strong.

I see 4 pretty certain wins. They will have to beat either the NCC or Beechwood to have a .500 regular season IMO.

Being a longtime follower of CCH, my heart says go CCH but I really don't know much about both teams this year so it's really hard to say who may win but I did vote for CCH because that is where my heart is. All I can say is that these are two great programs with a lot of class and good luck to both teams tomorrow night. GO COLONELS though!!

Look at what Bob Lichtenfels says about the offensive linemen for CCH and then what he says about Johnny Simon. Johnny is the 6th rated defensive tackle in the nation. You can obviously say what you want about CCH, but I think Coach Brossart, his player's, and the rest of his staff might deserve a little more credit that we are giving them. Scout.com seems to be giving them some credit.

CovCath is a program with a lot of pride. I guarantee that the Colonels are extremely embarrassed by last week's outcome and are going to come out to hit someone. I also guarantee that NewCath is aware of this and will be ready. This will be a battle.

The one thing I don't get from that article is that if the 3 lineman being talked about are that good, then they should have dominated. That was far from the case in that the offense only 78 yards of total offense

Hopefully the colonels can rally back. Morale is low, however, as their wonderful coach took the "Nike goodie bags" that were given to each player involved in the Herbstreet Challenge and gave them to the middle school team. He is obvioulsy deflecting his inadequacy on his players. Now the varsity players have to see 7th ad 8th graders walking around sporting a T shirt representing a game they did not play. Coach Brossart needs to understand the difference between motivation and demoralization!!
