Just heard Chris Wallace ask if John McCain was aware that Gov Palins' daughter was pregnant. The reporter responded that he was aware of this, but did not see it as a problem.

 

Still think she was prpoerly vetted?

Mrs. Bluto works as a counselor at a crisis pregnancy center. She sees this every day. It happens.

Liberal hypocrisy knows no bounds. It's okay for a presidential candidate to serve as an advocate for hospitals that kill live born babies who survive abortions but they are ready to throw a party when a 17-year old daughter of the Republican candate becomes pregnant and decides to keep her child.

 

I read the ridiculous rumors about Palin that prompted the announcement. The Daily Kos, which hosted most Democratic candidates for an event during the primaries, alleged that Palin's youngest son was actually born to her daughter and that Palin had faked her pregnancy.

 

Alan Colmes, who I have defended in the past, alleged that Palin had failed to provide proper prenatal care to her son by flying to Anchorage after her water broke. The implication was that Palin was somehow responsible for her son's autism, despite the fact that his condition had already been diagnosed weeks before.

 

Yes, I can certainly see that Barrack Obama is running a different kind of campaign. The old adage about people living in glass houses may soon come into play. Obama may have been unable to find corruption in the Chicago political machine, but sniffing out corruption is the specialty of Sarah Palin.

Real nice......slammming the underage child of a candidate . Don't say "just reporting the news", imo everyone knows what was going on and why. Should someone (press or whoever) want to bash one of the candidates then that is fine. Seems to me they would leave the kids out of it, guess not. :sleep:

 

This confirms my vote against Obama even more (if possible). I hope that somehow that some undecided voters look at this in the same way.

 

Unless you decide to take center stage and show America what a fine job you do ballancing family and being Govoner...then it's news.

 

Especially when you intend to seek the second highest office in the land, which I am quite sure takes considerable more time and travel.

 

Granted, a parent can not be responsible for their daughters decission to become sexually active, the question does arise as to what faimily values were administered at home.

For either campaign to use this to further their agenda is dispicable. The lives and future of three young people should not be fodder for the political crowd to sling back and forth. The "state trooper's job" comment was in extremely poor taste. Keep these kids out of the campaign and out of your stupid, ignorant comments.

So she waan't raised w/ good family values b/c at 17 she's sexually active? I'm guessing some high school teachers on here would say there is an extremely high percentage of sexually active 17 year olds who were raised w/ great family values.

So then the question should have been relevant when the wife of an admitted philanderer ran for the highest office in the land?

With Edward's, the kids were not the story. It was Edwards cheating on his wife. His cancer stricken wife. I feel sorry for his children in the fact that they know the only parent they are going to be left with betrayed their mother when she was vulnerable. That speaks to his character, not his kids'.
