He returned to practice Monday and Tuesday after battling a hamstring problem and learned that the Bengals are offering him to other teams for a wide receiver. Johnson said he would play Thursday night in the Bengals' preseason finale at Indianapolis - if he's still with the Bengals. The use of Johnson as potential bait was reported by ESPN on Monday night. August 28, 200818 yr It was actually rather sad watching an interview with him the other day about the trade stuff. He was asked again and again about his feelings and all he kept saying was this is a business, it's part of the NFL, etc, etc. I can only imagine how frustrated he is with the way this whole thing is playing out.

And to think Mike Brown has an ulterior motive is giving Mike Brown way too much credit.
August 28, 200818 yr If Rudi is healthy, I think he could be valuable for numerous teams, but if his health doesn't improve soon, he may be a FA.
