August 26, 200818 yr Is this ESPN making a story out of nothing, or is Ocho hurt worse than we once thought? This explains the Chris Henry move, and explain why ESPN is also reporting that the Bengals are shopping Rudi Johnson for a "real" reciever. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/trainingcamp08/news/story?id=3553260 http://www.profootballtalk.com/2008/08/25/ocho-cinco-has-torn-labrum/
August 26, 200818 yr Hindsight is always 20/20, but if Once Doce is actually seriously injured and will miss significant time, how bad is the trade the Bengals DIDN'T make before the draft. Look at the trickle down effect it might have.
August 26, 200818 yr In defense of the Bengals they don't have to disclose this stuff in the preseason, right? However, anyone that thinks the Bengals never spin and flat out don't tell the truth at times haven't been paying attention.
August 26, 200818 yr ^ Not saying anything bad about them for doing it, just I think something might be up. Every team in the NFL does it.
August 26, 200818 yr That shopping Rudi for a real WR comment is a hoot. I think Rudi would bring the Bengals 38 year old Carl "Easy" Pickens out of retirement and Thomas More's WR coach.

August 26, 200818 yr Something is probably up with the Henry signing, but I dont think its season ending or anything. Or else they would have announced it.
August 26, 200818 yr Author What was that proposed trade for Johnson again? Washington supposedly offered two 1's for him. 08 and 09
August 26, 200818 yr Torn Labrum for CJ. I've got one right now too. It would mostly just hurt when I lift or over work the shoulder area too much. Johnson seems to think he can play through the injury, maybe even w/out surgery at all. I tend to agree with that asessment as well.
August 26, 200818 yr Washington supposedly offered two 1's for him. 08 and 09 What was your source for that info? That is laughable, it ain't gonna happen. Unless they are talking to an Arena League team. Besides the 08 Draft was conducted in April. Perhaps you'd like to rethink your answer.

Perhaps you'd like to rethink your answer. This goes back to April 23rd, I thought the Bengals were foolish for not taking it then. Who knows how it will play out, here is a link to the story. This was back when Marvin denied getting any offer from the Redskins, then had to turn around and say they did. This franchise ROCKS! The draft was held 3 days after this story came out. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3358557

Perhaps you'd like to rethink your answer. I have thought about it.... and my answer is still the same. I know it sounds foolish, but Washington seriously made the offer and Cincy turne it down. What a great front office. I realize when the draft is, please check when the story was wrote. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3358557
