The big deal is he isn't just your average RB. Now we never said Highlands is done without him, because they most certainly are not, but we're talking about a Mr. Football canidate, and also the biggest leader of a team to try and attempt 30 straight and back-to-back state championships. Good luck to Highland and would be pretty amazing to see it. Hope the recovery goes fast... :thumb:

It's a big deal when this happens to any player. In this case it hits home because he is not only a candidate for Mr. Ky. Football but it's his senior year and this kid wants to play at the next level. Josh will be back this year whenever the doctors release him, it's just dissapointing for him to have this happen at this time.

I understand about the team concept but it is a big deal and yes Highlands will be Highlands with or without one player. This player is special and we are looking forward to his return!!!

My son broke his fibula last year at the end of September and with healing and therapy was not cleared until the end of January. Four week seems very hard to believe.

 

I agree, couldn't see him back before week 9 at best.

Surely you would agree, any student-athlete breaking a bone, is a big deal and can empathize with them.
