Logan and Tanner Florence of Pendleton County.

I believe the Florence twins were 2 and 0 against the King twins last year.

The Florence twins do not get as much "pub" as the King twins.

But they can play the game and shoot the ball very well.

I will predict Deming will not win the district

I thought teams play 5 players and its not twins against twins! Also i think I read in Maysville Newspaper that both King twins were on 10th region team Kyle as one of the top players and Luke as an Honorable mention. I believe these are voted on by the coaches of the 10th region. As to being the best in the 38th district they have my vote!! Their stats pretty much support that according to KHSAA website

Any word who is playing in this? Smart move by Mason to get some time in the BoK before regionals.

Mason Co. plays Cincinnati St. Xavier at 12:30 pm.:thumb:

For how big Mason wants to become this is a pretty weak field it seems?

State quarterfinalist in 2002

State champion in 2003

State runnerup in 2004

State quarterfinalist in 2006

State champion in 2008

I would humbly suggest that the Royals' recent success is unmatched by any other Kentucky team, and that the process of "becoming" is more of a process of trying to stay at the top of the mountain. :D

In all seriousness, not every single game on the schedule will match Mason County with a state or national power. The MCIT has historically involved local teams, some of which are always there. Mustang's August 16th post sums it up.

Looks like a Mason Co.- Brossart final on Sunday.

Hold on now PC is tough and my camels won't let the stangs get by without a fight. More like a Campbell County and a Mason County finals. We returned most of our team from last year that were runner up to Scott the district champions.:flame:

CCHS only lost their point guard. Their top scorers are back. This should be a competitive tournament, but Mason will still be the odds on favorite. Its hard to say that Mason is rebuilding after the loss of Darius, thye just re-load. Though Clark Co. is the best team on paper in the 10th, Mason will always put themselves in the thick of things. Campbell County will be better, but is still rebuilding. Never count out Brossart, but now they have lost two key coaches in two years, so it's not just rebuilding the talent, but meshing the coaches together as well. Deming will be the sleeper. Very solid underclassmen. The twins may be the best sophmores in the state.

Well I don't know much about the 2011 class but don't you think thats a little overated since they didn't even when the freshmen 10th region tourney last year but they did lose to a very good Mason County team just thought that was a bit much for the twins but are very good players.

Coach Fite was there when this year's schedule was made.

You're missing the point which was Bracken has ALWAYS been in this.

I thought teams play 5 players and its not twins against twins! You prove my point exacly! Team ball wins and that in my opinion is why the Florence twins are better and are 2-0 vs the King twins in Varsity action.:dancingpa

Not going to argue this point,Florence twins I'm sure will make an impact on PCHS team.Time will tell. Good luck to PCHS and to DHS
