I'm sure that Jeremy will be allowed to put his own staff in place. With this being so late in the game, my guess would be that whomever is the new coach will have to keep as much of the current staff as possible.

If Jeremy Baioni is named the head coach, who would be his assistant coaches? Where does Aaron Stapleton fit into the mix?

 

That would be cool to have Aaron and Jeremy as Headcoach and Assistant coach, which would make for a very young staff, but I dont see it happening. I think Jeremy's time will come but not this year. I dont know why Highlands cant keep a decent headcoach. I remember Mccoy took over a whileback and was fired within the next 3 years. Now it seems Johnson is leaving also. I dont see any reason why Highlands shouldnt be considered a top team in Nky every year, I just think they need to get headed in the right direction, and maybe having two young coaches such as Jeremy and Aaron would be a fresh start for the program. They will have very good talent this coming year, they just need someone to start them up.

I believe you may be right in the coach being Gary Shraoder sp?.

Jeremy will go out and find a good baseball mind like himself to be his assistant. To get this program back to where it was in the mid 90's Jeremy is going to be the guy to do it. He is very passionate towards the game and takes great pride in the school. All the players respect him and learn a alot from him. Jeremy played during that time at shortstop and yes Gary Schrader was the coach but the coaching was done by the 2 assistants.

Mike Johnson WILL be resigning from coach of the Birds. There are a couple of reasons for this, but the main reason is because he is going to be a Dad in a few months. There are other reasons too, but this is the main one.

Along with a kid they used to call the "thief" because he stole bases with ease in Adam Johnson, HHS did have some pretty good athletes. You may be right, I think they (Lorenzen and Smith) did play 1 or 2 yrs and then both gave it up. Im sure they had other solid stars such as JB but man you gotta get those athletes out there some way. Glaser was a fireballer though. Big lanky 6'6 kid all arms and legs coming at you. :scared:

Thats amazing that 1 school can win the region in those 3 sports in one year. I would have to say thats the best class(athletically) to ever come through Highlands. Every refers to them when u think of Highlands football or basketball. Did Glaser ever make it to the show?

I hope Jeremy Bioni gets the HC job for the Birds. He's a baseball guy from a baseball family. Good Luck! Seems like the kids really like him.
