Fathers (or mothers) who are coaches ARE allowed to go watch games during the dead period in which their child is playing, they can also COACH them during the dead period provided no other members of their high school team are playing.

Yes he was involved with a recruiting violation last year. I believe he was suspended for 2-4 games. Aaron Cosby was recruited to J'town from Manual.

The Dead peiod is June 25-July 9th. Coaches only had to wait one more day before attending the Hoops fest. Expect more coaches to be disciplined including Eastern and St.X.

Still waiting on Eastern Orca. From what im hearing, they had an assistant coach who violated the rule also. Coach Klein from ST.X was at Mid America who was hosting a different AAU event.

Coach Klein from X was there watching a former player of his while at Waggener, unaware of the X player. A rule is a rule, however. I just don't see the purpose if you're not coaching. It needs to be refined a little.
