He was also one of the giants at Stax records. I agree on Hayes and the theme from "Shaft". I cannot agree on anything to do with south park though. Hayes imo was way too talented for that "thing". Great, great flick! :thumb: W/re to South Park, I think some of us may be forgetting the less-than-amicable parting between Hayes and Matt/Trey over the Scientology issue. In the later "Super Adventure Club" episodes where they skewered the Chef character, they killed him off, but left it open-ended for a return (the Darth Vader scene), so I wonder how they will treat him in death.
