Just one thing to say about that.

No way Jessica is prettier than Carrie.

If anybody contributed money to Edwards' campaign, you might want to start demanding your refund before the money runs out. The potential for a class action lawsuit apparently got Honest John to begin making things right with his richest donors first. Of Edwards' Two Americas, the rich one is getting served first. Oh the irony of it all!

(Sorry about linking to a blog but the liberal mainstream media is pretending the Edwards story is over and that he is on his way toward recovery.)

Edwards’ Campaign Quietly Refunds Contributions to Bundlers, Big Backers

The Edwards ‘08 Campaign for President has quietly refunded almost $4 million to individual contributors, a number of them, bundlers and big backers. This should be news to Warren Buffet who recently mused that Edwards’ supporters should get together and file a class action suit. It seems another “class” has already had their contributions refunded–and it’s not the “grassroots” little guys.

We had no idea the campaign was handing out refunds until we happened to come across the information while perusing the site OpenSecrets.org and the data supplied to the Federal Election Commission by the Edwards’ campaign.

We were baffled, how did the Edwards’ campaign manage to refund that much money, almost $4 million, and no one notice? We hadn’t seen any mention of the refunds elsewhere, not on the web, not in the MSM, and not on the Edwards’ campaign website.

We found it interesting, at a time when Warren Buffet on CNBC This Morning (courtesy Mickey Kaus at Slate) mused whether Edwards’ contributors should file a class-action suit to get their money back, there’s a whole other “class” of individuals who’ve received their refund. And what an interesting “class” we found:

Out of 667 “bundlers” or designated fundraisers, 276 or 40%, had received a refund of their individual contributions. Not only did the individual bundlers get their money back but in some cases so did their family members.

Ahhh, this from the "Party of the 'Little Guy'"....

I still like the Ross Perot quote,

If your wife can't trust you, how can I (we)?

Although, it didn't seem to hurt Bill Clinton, among the Dems.;)

The hits just keep coming for phony populist John Edwards.

EDWARDS HEDGE FUND $OAKS 'CANE VICTIMS

Embarrassed presidential hopeful John Edwards promised yesterday to take millions of dollars of his own fortune out of a hedge fund tied to subprime lenders who foreclosed on victims of Hurricane Katrina.

The populist candidate - who has denounced such lenders - invested $16 million of his $30 million in assets in Fortress Investment Group. The Wall Street Journal reported that 34 New Orleans homeowners struggling to overcome Katrina's aftermath faced foreclosure suits from subprime-lending units of Fortress.

Yesterday, the red-faced Democratic candidate vowed to remove from his portfolio any Fortress funds that have a stake in those lender units

Or John McCain among Republicans.

Or John McCain among Republicans.
Cheating on a terminally ill spouse is a career killer. The fact that Edwards continues to lie about the affair just compounds his problems. Newt Gingrich had an affair with his current wife while his former wife was recovering from cancer. Gingrich's political career has never recovered. Maybe MSNBC will hire Edwards as a news anchor.

Didn't seem to hurt John McCain's political career when he cheated with Cindy on his severly crippled wife injured in a car wreck.

Fox is holding that spot open for Senator toe tapper, when his current term expires.

But that doesn't count because he's John McCain...

And apparently, if you're a POW, you're given a pass on cheating.

According to Sean Hannity you do. You also get a pass on knowing how many houses you own because you were a POW.

Sean Hannity is awful. I can't listen to his show for more than 5 minutes without wanting to throw up...
