You should dedicate yourself to watching one entire match, from start to finish. Not MLS or USA Division I, but either good international teams or English Premiership. Good soccer is hard to beat, even though there are few goals.

That is another debate for another thread, however. This topic can get way off track quickly I got started watching during the World Cup of like 1994 or something. I only watched international soccer for a long time and then I started getting access to club soccer. I think its very exciting and easily ranks right behind college basketball and college football in my books.
