August 10, 200818 yr Author I'm somewhat stunned that people are advocating the trade of Bailey. How old is he? 22? 22 and we've already determined he can't pitch? You can't learn anything after 22? You can't get a new pitching coach that works better with him? I would take some time to give him a look as a late inning reliever long before I'd move him. I honestly think he would be a good closer down the road...
August 10, 200818 yr Volquez was horrible at 22. Winner, winner. Chicken dinner! :thumb: :dancingpa :thumb: Gametime has forgotten that. :sssh:
August 10, 200818 yr Winner, winner. Chicken dinner! :thumb: :dancingpa :thumb: Gametime has forgotten that. :sssh: He had WAY better stuff than Bailey. You forgot that. No reason for him to get his head bashed in everytime he pitches up here. He needs to work on some more pitches. He belongs in AAA.

August 10, 200818 yr I seem to recall someone telling me about how improved the Reds farm system was. If so, who are these guys and when will they be ready for the ( and I use the term loosely) major league club?
August 10, 200818 yr Reds a playing badly, in all facets of the game. The offense is struggling, pitchers are missing their zones, defense seems to be in the wrong spot and not many smiles, on the faces of anyone. Someone needs to step up and lead by example, on the field. Going through a bad time right now and hopefully, all can get on-board for the same cause.
August 10, 200818 yr Harang is getting hammered. The Reds seem destined to prove that they are one of the worst, if not, THE worst ballclub in major league baseball. They are embarrassing themselves. Agree with earlier post. Just bring up the entire Louisville roster and sit the so-called 'major leaguers' down. This is not the 'championship' baseball Jim Bowden promised so many promises ago...and not the 'championship' baseball Bob Castellini wanted put on the field right away. Way too many deals and experiments have overlapped themselves and blown up in the Reds' organization's face.
August 10, 200818 yr Wow, tough to watch this once proud franchise, getting booed at home and playing this way. Better days are ahead, the question is how soon will they get here.
August 10, 200818 yr Harang?? This is, all of sudden, one of the worse Cincy teams in recent memory. They have quit. A lot of the blame has to go to Dusty. He is getting nothing out of the team, and continues to hook his boys up Patterson and Bako have no business on the roster. I can believe they got rid of Ross and kept Bako. Call up Dickerson, DFA Patterson. There is no energy from any direction. It is all leadership, at this point. I can handle watching a team, giving effort lose, but this is disgracful to the players, fans and organization.

Walt has a great track record and I trust he can turn this around. I was kidding about bring the AAA guys up.

August 10, 200818 yr Anybody still think Harang's problem was 'tired arm'? I'm stil going with loss of control.
