What Harlan Co player holds a state record by playing against Lynn Camp for two different teams in the same month.

 

I think there may have been a basketball player who played against Cawood twice during the 2001/2002 season while playing for two different schools as well. I wonder if HDE knows who it was and for what teams he played?

He might have told you he did it in the 80s, but he was LONG GONE from high school by then. Outlaw Coach and I were the ones in high school then.

State finals appearances

 

Cumberland in 1982, 1983 and 1986

 

Lynch (not a county school) won four state titles and finished second twice.

 

Cawood won a region in 1975. Evarts won a region in 1990.

Bryan Barrett hit a 51-yard field for Cawood against Danville in the 1986 playoffs. I don't know of anyone else off the top of my head in the 35-yard level.

I cant remember his name. He played RB and DB for Harlan in the mid to late 70's if its the one Im thinking of. He also had several pro and college coaching stops. The last I heard he was with the 49ers but that has been several years back!
