My mother was actually in contact with one of the investigators working the case or very close to the case.

 

My parents lived in Colorado around 1999-2000. How she got in touch with him I'm not sure, but in any case she had phone and email conversations with him and both he and my mother believe the family had nothing to with it.

 

As quite a few people have already said, no matter what you believe, we can all agree that this thing was screwed up from the beginning.

I am like a lot of posters on this thread in that I still believe that the family was involved in this. Whether it be directly (actually commited the murder) or by covering up ($$$$$$$$$) what really happened or "who" really did this. I actually believe the brother is guilty or in another way I am not convinved that Patsy was innocent and that she actually murdered her daugther. I don't mean to convict a dead woman, is just my opinion.

I saw a news program (Greta Van Sustren) interview last night that were talking to the guy (John Carr??) that claimed in so many words to have murdered the little girl. He was basically stating how glad that he was that the Ramsey's had been cleared and what great people that they were and were completely innocent and finally were cleared from any speculation. He was ask directly if he still claims to have committed the murder and without saying it directly he did not deny it (as to say yes). This guy is wierd with a capital "W" and that is being optimistic. He kept saying over and over that justice had finally been done as far as clearing the Ramsey's.

I believe that a lot of the Ramsey's $$$$$$$ may have went to this wacko to confess along with to the Colorado police and investigators to "screw this one up" .

 

At any rate, people seem to forget that the only and real victim in this case was JonBent Ramsey, she certainly didn't commit suicide.

I told MrRk tonight that her brother did it and not by accident. I think that money bought this DNA decision.

 

:thumb: That is pretty much my feelings as well along with Ramsey money paying the guy (Carr?) that I mentioned in my post above to confess and then the officials to conviently screw the case up.

I don't think there is enough money for the Ramseys to have covered it up and kept it covered up. Can you imagine how much could be made by the person solving this crime?

Money influenced this case from the beginning. If this case would have occurred in a trailer park or in the inner city, it would have been handled differently from the start.

 

This DNA evidence may eliminate the family as being the murderer, but it can’t eliminate them from being involved, only good police work can do that and that boat has sailed.

I though in this country you are innocent until proven guilty rather than guilty and prove your innocence. :confused:

I think a lot of people think something is sinister because of all the attention that was put on JonBenet being a child beauty pagent-er (not the right word, but you know what I mean). A lot of people judged Patsy for "using" her daughter like that. I'm not saying it was right. But that doesn't make her a murderer, nor does it mean she worked with someone to have her daughter murdered.

 

Why is it so easy to believe the prosecuter in the Duke Lacrosse players rape case had it wrong, but not in this case? It's been 10 years and there's been no conclusive evidence that the family did it. Now, there's conclusive evidence the family didn't do it, and apparently, the public still thinks their guilty. No, it doesn't prove that they didn't have something to do with it, but there's no proof they did. What happened to "innocent until proven guilty"? Isn't this America?

For the record, I will have to say that I was really shocked that the DNA came back like it did. If this family did not do the crime, I am sorry for their loss and heartache.

 

I will say that, seeing this on the news, my gut feeling says that did it. I always thought the brother did it out of jealously. Look at how much attention this child got. It must have been hard for him to live up to that.

 

The child was in the basement (if memory serves me correctly) and the family did not know her body was there? Something feels fishy.

 

I have always gone with my gut feeling and it has never let me down. I am not saying that I am right on this, however, my gut is really telling me that someone in the family knew something.

This raises an interesting question....What do you do if you're the parents and you know your son did it? Do you try to protect him, or do you cooperate with the investigation?

It's kind of ironic how we villify the media as regards the political spectrum as regarding sensationalism and misleading us...but on in issue like this, we take their implications and run with them.
