Smart, young,energetic, dripping with charisma, and technologically relevant... is it any wonder this guy has the country abuzz with excitement and hope!!! This reads more like a People magazine description of the latest Hollywood heartthrob than someone running for president of the United States. I suppose that's apropos since recent extemporaneous comments by Obama have revealed an awareness of political history befitting a Hollywood heartthrob.

How about the fact that McCain can fly a fighter jet, but Obama can't, does that mean Obama is not qualified to be President? Maybe Obama should go for a screen test with with all those qualities you mentioned, as none of them qualify him to be President.

He used to fly one, may have been older ones, but Obama has never flown one, old or new. Besides my point is that neither is disqualified because they cannot fly or use a modern day computer.

It's more like the ECM, TCM, and Body computers in your car, not the laptop you're typing on. This isn't Star Trek. Unlike every member of the Enterprise, I don't know any air force pilot that can tell me what microcontroller is running the guidance system, much less how it's internal programming works. Actually, McCain would probably have an easier time than he did back in his day, when all that technology didn't exist to the extent it does now.

I think this is really a non issue, just another way to call McCain old and out of touch...
