I think this is really a non issue, just another way to call McCain old and out of touch... He is definately old, and the more research I do, the more I think that maybe he is out of touch in a lot of ways.

This has become a very predictable tactic that is employed every four years. The only way to justify supporting an inexperienced socialist for president is on the basis of intelligence and sound judgment. Obama has repeatedly shown bad judgment during the campaign, so now all that is left is to paint McCain as old, lazy, and stupid. Soon, whispers will be heard raising the possibility of McCain showing signs of senility. The Drudge headline, John McCain doesn't work weekends is just the beginning of liberals' campaign to make McCain look feeble and out of touch. So much for positive campaigning.

June 27, 200818 yr I'm sure the President of the United States will have plenty of people who can take care of any technological requirements. I don't think the inability to send text messages and interact on Myspace will affect McCain's (or anyone's) ability to do the job of President.

But my definition may be much more liberal than McCain's. (There's a paradox in there somewhere.) Technologically literate to me means you have a basic understanding of the mechanics and abilities of current technology. It means if I explain to you what a gas centrifuge does, you can follow what I'm saying. It doesn't mean you can repair one if it breaks down. Being president is very much a learning experience. You don't know half of what you need to know on Inauguration Day. But you have to have the ability to comprehend what your advisers are telling you. You also have to know when the techies are feeding you a line of bull. McCain was a fighter pilot. I trust him to be adequately literate.
