Good thing for conservatives that Bush finally listened to those wagging his tail. If you recall, the stubborn Bush really wanted Harriet Miers. The justices that are likely to retire are already liberal (Ginsburg, Breyer, Stevens). Appointing 3 liberals isn't going to gain you any ground, just replace the ground you lost. Now if McCain is elected, Kennedy will no longer need to be the "swing" vote.

A fighter is an aircraft that engages other aircraft, the A-4 Skyhawk was a ground attack aircraft with limited AA capabilities at best. That's all I have to add.

He PRIMARILY flew the A-4 Skyhawk, but was also rated on the A-6 Corsair and the F-8 Crusader (which were nearly identical). Anytime MiG's shoot at you, I think you're a fighter pilot, but we will all call him a "bomber pilot" from here on out.

If you want to talk about being out of touch, how about Obama believing that the government is the answer to all our problems? Being out of touch is believing that taxing the oil companies and handing out the money will cure the energy situation. Being out of touch is believing that electric cars will cure the energy situation, but you not allow coal, atomic or oil to generate eletricity to run these cars.
