NKY Regional Knothole Tourney starts 7/1

What was the score? Didn't they come out of the losers bracket and win twice in the championship series?

Titans beat the Gold Star Tigers 4-2 last night. It was a very well played game on both sides. Titans will now play on Saturday morning in the City tourney.

And that city tourney is being held in Covington. In this age of political correctness, NKY (Covington in particular) threw a fit that the city championship was played in Cincinnati. So, now the B tournament is in Covington. It's a shame too, because when playing in this league, your biggest thrill is getting the opportunity to play in the city championship in Blue Ash, not Covington.

I think you got your facts wrong. Besides, unless you are on Crosley or Riverfront, the rest of the place is not that big a deal. Regardless the B tournament is at Blue Ash. I don't know who threw a fit for the tournament games either. As a matter of fact the available fields for tournament was a big question. Perhaps Covington did the league a favor? Not sure how that is political correctness instead of being a good neighbor.

Blue Ash is terrible except for the two bigger fields...

100% agree. While the actual field should not matter, the thrill of "going to Ohio" to play adds something to it.

Yes. It should always host the A tourney.

Why not Florence Freedom Field?

UC - Johnny Bench Field?

I'll take these sites any time over Blue Ash.

My facts are not wrong.

It's a history/tradition thing. Your cousins, friends, brothers, uncles, etc. talk about their experience playing up there, and you want to experience that too. Instead, your stuck playing in Covington.

Class B has been in Covington for a while now...

Yeah, it's my understanding that it's been there for a few years now.

Proving once again if it is on the internet it must be true! The games are not in Covington, the plan has changed and was changed last week. Last year was the first year any of the finals were played in Covington. Why the site is not updated, who knows but the teams that are going already know.

I agree with Stayinline, get the finals at Florence Freedom will take that over Blue Ash anytime.

Give it up..... or better yet, go to Covington and not watch the games played. They are at Blue Ash, end of story.

Chill out man. I've simply stated that both coaches last night were under the impression that the games were in Covington, and that the Greater Cincinnati Knothole website supports this. If I'm wrong, then so be it. Until I'm shown otherwise, I'll continue to believe what I've been told and seen by people that I know are involved. However, unless you are involved in this in some way, then please let us know.

We were told tonight the B tournament is in Blue Ash.
