The Titans won a nail biter 5-4 against a very good Tealtown Redhawks team. Joe Rawe pitched a complete game for the Titans. They play for the city championship on Saturday morning at 10:00.

 

In Class D, St. Agnes lost to an extremely good Cincinnati Color team. I do not know the results from A or C.

A - Taylor Mill Hitmen @ 7:00, Crosley vs Mack Fire (Losers Bracket)

B - Campbell County Titans @ 7:00, Field 8 vs Tealtown Redhawks (Winners)

I just checked the City Website and they must of made a mistake. Boeckley is in the finals of C at 10:00am on Sat...It really surprised me the other day when it said they had lost their first round game.When my sons team played them in the South Region I thought for sure they would win City..Their defense is outstanding for a C Knothole team.. Boeckley's shortstop made at least 3 plays in the hole to throw our kids out at first..Good luck and bring the trophy back to NKY....:thumb:

First game jared laughlin pitched 7 inning complete game for a 6-2 win.

 

In the second game Parker Rice and Nick Brown pitched six innings and bats were hot as the Hitmen won 13-5 in six innings.

The have a very solid team. However, I wonder how many will attend Campbell County. Those pesky bluebirds are already talking about one boy, I wonder how many others they'll pull north.

I would guess that most of the kids on the Titans are NCC and Brossart kids.

If any of them want to come to Highlands I am sure they will be happy to have them. I am sure there is a spot on the basketball team for McGovney.

Most of them attend Campbell Middle School.
