I admit that although we rarely agree, I do respect the breadth of your knowledge. I've learned a lot from what you post. Sometimes, though, I do have to wait a while and go back to read it, because the tone gets my blood boiling. But, you do challenge me, for one. I like that.

 

There are several others that I respect greatly, including those you mentioned and others such as HHSDad, RTS (as long as we're not talking gun control...because he hasn't figured out yet I'm not against guns), and Pepper. I like the civility in which HHSDad, in particular, is able to convey his dissent.

 

I, though, get upset when someone thinks I don't like them because of my posts. I rarely have a dislike for someone. However, when I do, I have good reason, and I'm pretty set in that. Oh...and if I were ever trying to win popularity votes, do you think I'd voice my opinion in here? :lol:

The respect is mutual. I truly appreciate posters who provide links to support their assertions and you sometimes overwhelm me with the number of links that you provide. It takes very little time to just throw out an opinion and take cheap shots at somebody but people who feel strongly enough to research issue and share their research deserve respect, even if their positions may not. :lol:

I've looked at 5 other major polls done at the same time as the Newsweek poll, and all had Obama up, but by no more than 6 points.

I saw a poll today that said that Obama leads but a large number of people are concerned both with his lack of experience and his associations.

Newsweek at one time had Mondale leading Reagan.

 

Their polls are not know for their accuracy.
