That's why I asked the question.

 

Put yourself in the seats of the KHSAA personnel. Euton's dad loses his job and picks Georgetown to be his new residence. Seemingly the next day, Jackson also ends up in Georgetown. You don't think the KHSAA is going to wonder how that happened and if it was for athletic reasons?

 

Was there something (other than the Eutons) that caused the Jacksons to head back to Georgetown? When the KHSAA says they believe it was for athletic purposes, what is going to be a satisfactory response to that by the Jacksons?

First off, Jackson moved to Ashland to live with the Eutons for the first year or two. Then, mom moved out there. Clay Euton has talked about moving his family to the Lexington area since Dakotah was in 5th grade. He works in Lexington now - it's not like Georgetown housing was cheaper so they bought a house there.

 

As an insider told me, both will be ruled ineligible, both will appeal and both will win the appeal. Just give it time.

What is it with former Rose Hill basketball players and controversy. Walker was living with Mayo, Jackson with Euton. Walker/Mayo played for 5 teams in like 6 years if you count college and NBA (Huntington, Ashland, Cincy, Huntington, LA/Manhatton, NBA. Wild!

I think there is little doubt that the hearing officer will rule for the players. Then it's up to the Board of Control.

 

If the BOC upholds the commissioner's ruling, then it goes to the court system.
