June 18, 200818 yr Glad you are doing better. Do the rehab...very important.....I know you will. Keep us updated.:thumb:
June 18, 200818 yr Author We have rules, you know. :irked: And the rules should say.....no ugly legs allowed.....although I will have to confess that my legs and feet are still quite swollen...but not that swollen:lol::lol: The bottom part of this leg and the bottom part of the right leg is what I am having trouble with now. But I just betcha that MrRk and I will have that taken care of soon also. Answer to MrsPH - heart rehab......I will go there and I will ride bikes, work out on the machines, get diet information, they will check my vitals and progress , walk, etc, etc, etc.The American Heart Association has a program that all rehabs follow. So now that I am living in Southern Indiana I have to find a rehab. That is a project for tomorrow. Today I am busy getting phone numbers and writing down questions and to be quite honest, resting. Yesterdays trip kinda wore me out a bit and if I want to walk tonight I plan on taking a short nap in a minute. Thanks for posting that ugly leg picture......
June 18, 200818 yr Author You know I could have saved you an office visit, I always wanted to remove staples....Glad to hear things are progressing. You wouldn't have wanted to remove most of these....the PA had to dig most of them out...ouch!!!!

June 19, 200818 yr Author I DROVE MY CAR!!!!! I woke up this morning and decided that it was time to give this driving stuff a try. So after MrRk went to work I got up and took a shower, dressed all my wounds and off I went. Of course I drove his car:D why take a chance with mine:lol::lol::lol:Anyway, I took myself out to breakfast and then I went to the drugstore to get more bandages and then I went by and saw a friend and ended up talking to her for about 2 hrs., then I took myself to lunch and then I came home. It was AMAZING!!!! After being in the house for so long and only going out for a few minutes, or to the doctors and always with someone controling the whole situation, it was amazing to make your own decisions on where you were going and when you were coming home. I will admit that I am a little tired but boy this kind of tired sure feels good!!!!!
June 19, 200818 yr Author THAT IS AWESOME!!!! :ylsuper: You're a free woman again! :thumb: WHOOPIE!!!!!!!!!! WHOOPIE!!!!!!!!! Now I know that MrRk isn't going to let me drive to far for a little while but hey just this little bit around town was great. I can't even explain to anyone how wonderful it was to get in a car and just drive myself to wherever I wanted to be. I never realized how confining it was to have to wait for someone else to take you somewhere. I will never take this for granted again!
