You know that phrase, "Healthy as a horse?" Well, people misuse it a lot, because horses are never totally healthy. For most owners and trainers, it's a question of "will the horse be able to overcome (insert malady here) and still be able to finish in the money?" It's also why horses are on so many different medications.
