Fortunately I've never had to do such a thing and hope I never have to! I would have to imagine the number of citizens that have ever had to draw their in self defense would be very small. I have a cousin that has been a cop in Owensboro for about 10 or so years and was a cop in Henderson for 5 or 6 before that. He has very rarely had to draw his weapon and has only had to fire it once. It just so happen to be his shotgun and it was at a couple of pit bulls.

February 23, 200917 yr This is an old thread, but I was wondering who all has gotten their license recently. I took the class today and it was very interesting.
