June 5, 200818 yr A friend had a tree fall inches from his new car, another had a trampoline fly over one house onto a neighbors truck.. Scary.
June 5, 200818 yr Was a mess again tonight. Was leaving work when this happened, made it to Burger King, couldn't see two feet in front of my car because of the rain. Then the Warning Sirens started going off. I went back to work until about 7'ish. On the way home saw a ton of down trees and limbs. Also Pioneer Parks Creek is now Pioneer River. I'm not sure whether or not the water is still rising, since most the rain has stopped. If it is I'd say 17 could be under some water in a couple hours or so.

June 5, 200818 yr Rain guage in garden showed over 4 inches of rain the last two days for us...in unicorporated Florence. Was Krogering when storms roared through around 5:30-6:00. Made it halfway down Gunpowder and had to turnaround. Creek had flooded the street. Cut across to Weaver, then down Mt. Zion...creek had flooded over many of the driveways on southside of Mt. Zion, between 75 and Gunpowder. Hadn't seen it that high in the four years I have been out here.
June 5, 200818 yr Anybody know if Bristow or Mt. Zion roads are back open? Why were they closed? I don't drive that way anymore.

Yeah, my parents said it was up to 17 last night. They said it was pretty cool looking.
June 5, 200818 yr Well, I think the storm cleared all the dead wood out of our oak tree, because its all over our yard.
June 5, 200818 yr Why were they closed? I don't drive that way anymore. They were both closed due to floods around 7 when I got off. Around midnight Bristow was back open, not sure about MT. Zion.
