Freel is going to the DL. I think it's a tear at the bottom of the hammy, but I also had the same type injury and it was only a severe strain. It took about 6 weeks to get even close to normal, and I still had a regular "popping" feel when I ran full speed.

Hererra is most likely to be sent down for the Homer "experiment". Right now navigating this Phillies lineup for a righty is almost impossible in their park. Should be a very interesting close to the week long series before going to Miami...

Any Idea who they are going to call up for Freel?

More than likely Patterson.

No sense in making little remarks towards me. I was simply stating that Griffey was the starter of the all-star game, then something was said to me, and I replied.

Ugh...

You replied with garbage. I called it out. Thanks for playing. Enjoy the Braves thread...

You'll learn it's a way of life in this thread.

I thought you were done here???

Spoken by the biased Reds fan .

I said I was finished trying to discuss baseball on here. I was merely making a non-baseball comment on the comment.
Ugh...

While I don't want to see it either, it does make sense. I guess if they wanted to leave him down longer, they could bring up Jolbert Cabrera. He had a good spring if i remember correctly.

It's a baseball thread. You, SV, westsider and so on are diehard fans of opposing teams here to take shots. I get it. Reds fans here get it.

I used to be the guy taking shots at UK. I got bored with it, and moved on to providing real info on the subject at hand. Lesson learned here.........

I wouldn't have had that much of a problem with Patterson if he wasn't hitting leadoff everytime. I don't see that happening if/when he comes back.

I've tried doing the same thing, even in non-Reds threads only to be stalked by Reds fans and chippy comments. As I told LRCW, 75-80% of the posts I made in Reds forums were constructive, positive, and provided links about the Reds in a positive light. The same can't be said on the flip side which is why I'm done with baseball on here.

GT, any behind the scenes word on Jr sitting out with general soreness.

This isn't one of those lingering things where he goes for a week or two and then out is it?
