June 4, 200818 yr Author This team is so close. They are still a year or so away, but I love the way they are starting to mix in the young players with the veterans. How can you not like the future with all of the young talent they are starting to mix in.

June 4, 200818 yr The Bullpen has been lights out lately, I like the young arms they have out there with Burton, Bray, Herrea, Affledt (though he is not to young) and we have 3 more years of Coco. If Majewski has it figured out again the bullpen will be tough.

If Majewski has it figured out again the bullpen will be tough. Which reliever gets sent out on Thursday to make room for Bailey? It's going to be tough. Majewski looked good last night, and if he's on, will get a lot of ground ball outs. Hererra looked awesome tonight, and I feel has a very bright future as a reliever. If it were up to me I would send Lincoln down, but I'm not sure if he has any options.
June 4, 200818 yr ^Hererra most likely. You think they are going to send him down after what he did tonght? I think he has earned himself at least another apparence before getting ship right back down. Lincoln IMO is who they will send down.
June 4, 200818 yr Author ^Hererra most likely. After that performance tonight? If I'm Dusty, I got to keep him on the roster, but it's going to be a very tough call.
June 4, 200818 yr Atleast Reds fans can be proud that Griffey, as of right now, is the starting RF'er in the All-Star game..

June 4, 200818 yr Freel is going to the DL. I think it's a tear at the bottom of the hammy, but I also had the same type injury and it was only a severe strain. It took about 6 weeks to get even close to normal, and I still had a regular "popping" feel when I ran full speed. Hererra is most likely to be sent down for the Homer "experiment". Right now navigating this Phillies lineup for a righty is almost impossible in their park. Should be a very interesting close to the week long series before going to Miami...
June 4, 200818 yr Or the fact they sweep the ATL. :fight: Old news, since then the Reds are 0-2 while the Braves are 2-0..:thumb:
