And can run like a deer! Will is very atheletic and will make that adjustment to playing defense if that's what the team need's him to do.

 

If I'm Highlands, and I have Guidugli playing QB, why would you not move a very atheltic and long kid to WR???

I'm not a coach but my guess is that they already have enough very athletic guys at WR and think he can help the team more at DB.

I agree with you. I know I mentioned earlier in this thread Isler will be a monster at QB. He will remind me of Pat Cary at Elder a few years ago, very big kid who was tough to bring down.

 

What is Kues size? I am unfamiliar wiht him except I know he has a very nice arm.

I'd say about 6'1 1/2" 175-180 lbs. He is very, very athletic.

I disagree that this group will be better. I dont think one of them has had varsity time at wide receiver. Isler will be a solid QB, but I just don't see them having any real threats to throw to besides Van Sant.

 

Just looking back on some post. Have you seen them lately. You may want to re-think your opinion. Robinson and Vansant will be one of the best tandums in NKY. Robinson is fast and smooth with very good feet. His hands have improved a lot since last year. The other receivers are very athletic. Hold on to your hat. If Isler can keep from throwing the ball into the ground like he did early in the season last year (to much over the top motion from all the baseball), CovCath will put up big numbers by the end of the year.

A young man who may have a break out year is Andrew Eschman, Campbell County. Raw talent, but one of the best talents in NKY that no one has heard of. If the Camels are to be competitive, it will be a result his playmaking abilities.

A question about Kues would how well NCC replaces their receivers and offensive line. You need both to be a sucessful QB.

Kues from NCC is the best in NKY hands down. Also some one who is not bad is Brendon Gregory from Lloyd.

Welcome to the site. That will be a huge question. I've heard that Jake Smith has been moved to guard I believe and is not playing center this year. If, and I don't know if they are, he and Cox are on the same side of the line, that gives NewCath a very formidable Guard-Tackle combo.

Icler will be solid. He had a good year last year and now that Brossart can open his whole playbook and not just run left, run right, run up the middle, throw two passes a game Icler should have an even better year than last. It will also help having an offensive line. Cov Cath will have decent skill players but will not be as good as last year. Voet, Furnish, and Van Sant don't match up to Punch, Schneider, Cason, and Klare from last year.

 

Throw Michael Robinson into the mix and I think they will be every bit as good as last year if not better. Isler will have a great group of recievers to throw to this year.

I think Isler has the most experience and the best arm but what really hurts him is his mobility. The thing about Kues and Gudugli is that they are both quick and can move around the pocket. Isler is more of just a drop back passer. All it will take is a quick defensive line, CovCath's line isnt very quick but they are big. If Isler is rushed to throw than he will have alot of trouble completing a pass, he has a slow release and needs time.
