Lakers were the better team. Congrats to them and their fans.

This group in LA could be looking at a great run over the next 5 or so years...

The Lakers are playing awfully well right now... It is going to be tough for anyone to beat them...

Just think if they had some young rapidly developing 7 ft center to add to all of this next year...

Oh wait... They do...:scared:

SA made a mistake IMO in not keeping James White on the roster to let him develop into a Bowen type defender at a much younger age. Maybe they will give him another look as they are forced to go younger on the bench going forward...

I know the guy can dunk with the best of em' but he also has the potential to be a "Bowen type defender"???? So you are saying the guy has the potential to be the dirtiest player in the game? (not really Spurs fans...Well yeah, really.)

Where is he at now? Can't believe that he didn't make the roster and someone like Matt Bonner did...

It feels great to see Kobe finally get another shot after the way they lost in the finals last time and how much criticism he's taken over the past few years. I said at the beginning of the series Kobe would be the reason the Lakers won this series and he indeed was.

So many people doubted the Lakers but it looks like the Spurs reign has finally come to an end. NO MORE "DEFENDING CHAMP" talk on here anymore!!

I say the Lakers beat the Pistons or Celtics in the finals.

Nice job by the Lakers. Finally, I can root for them again. This series has been brutal.

Imagine if both Bynum and Ariza were still in there. I seriously don't think the Lakers would have lost a game yet. They have been dominant without them outside of the 3 road losses and that was to two of the best home teams in the NBA.

White signed a four year contract with Turkish champions Fenerbahçe on September 8 2007, that will play in the 2007-08 Euroleague.

So if he gets offered an NBA contract, can he leave that?
