Can the Lakers please win tonight to end this series.

 

I agree. If the Lakers go up 3-1 tonight I think this thread will be pretty quiet like it was when they went up 2-0.

 

It's funny how everything was really quiet when the Lakers dominated games one and two and now the Spurs win one game and both are back and all of a sudden "not out of town."

To be fair whan assessing game one, I'm not sure falling behind by 20 midway through the third quarter and rallying to win by 4 is dominating.

 

Spurs dominated the first 31 minutes. L.A dominated the last 17.

 

I guess one can look at it either way.

Can the Lakers please win tonight to end this series.

 

I hope...this is a huge game. If the Spurs win, we're in a best of 3...

 

If the Lakers win, it really puts San Antonio behind the eight ball. I think it's premature to say a win tonight would end the series though. Even if LA won tonight, it's very difficult to close a team out, especially a team with the championship experience of the Spurs. Plus, the Spurs know they have to win a game in LA, so even if they lose tonight, they would still only need a win in LA and to defend their home court one more time to force a game 7...and, at the point, anything can happen.

 

A win tonight definitely gives the Lakers a stranglehold on this series. It's hard to imagine the Spurs beating them in three straight, especially with two of them in LA. But, all that is out the window when, and if, game 7 starts...

I believe that if LA wins tonight then the series is more than likely over. BUT it could be tough, I mean either SA needs to win 3 in a row now, or if they lose tonight they have to win 2 games in LA and 1 in SA whereas if they win tonight they need 1 win in LA in 1 win in SA.

It is as far as I'm concerned...I've felt like whoever came out of the west between LA and SA would win the title. However, I think Detroit could possibly beat them. I don't like Boston's chances, but I could be wrong.

They beat Denver by 14, and 15 at home. They beat Utah by 11, 10, and 7 at home. And they beat S.A. by 4 and 30 at home. Add all of those up and you get 91. Divide by the total number of home games (7) and you get 13. Am I doing something wrong?
