I was thinking more along the lines of 6'3 and about 255 myself, but Aaron is young and could have grown some this summer. He sure would make a good lineman with that size. Corbin needs some holes to be opened up for their backs this season. I would expect Manns to be a big asset when it comes to blocking. It will surprise me if he catches 20 passes this season, but he will be a huge impact on the line and on the defensive side of the ball. If Manns catches 20 passes this year, he may be the leading receiver on the team. I just can't see Corbin passing the ball much this year.

I would have to agree with 4CHS and let his statement explain the 20 touches. Watkins and Sewell should be the main pass catchers when the ball does have to be moved thru the air.

I think he's been out of the picture since February or so.

You both make good points. But you never know. We will have to wait until then lights come on at Campbell field.

 

While Im sure Aaron has been promised that he's the next Jeremy Shockey, my guess is that he will be asked to block about 99% of the time and wont touch the football unless he knocks it loose while playing defense. I hope Im wrong for Aaron's sake!

Your wrong. And they are no promise.And it will be up to Aaron on how much he plays and if he catches any balls know body coaches included promised him anything.And it will take him a little time to adjust to the game and should be a good one before he is done. And it won't hurt his play on the court either.Also PEOPLE NEED TO KNOW IT WAS aARON WHO WANTED TO PLAY THE COACHES DID'NT ASK.Now I have talked with his dad and he has told me everything.Could be catching a little flack on the other sport he plays. Aaron just needs to do what Aaron wants to do like his dad said and not pay to much attention to what people say.

Aaron is doing the right thing by playing football, their's not much of a need for 6-3 post players at any college level.

Aaron is doing the correct thing by playing football if he wants to play. He can have a better future in football than basketball if he wants to. Josh Crawford is another kid that could have played both sports if he had want to and I think would have help his basketball. No kid should be told not to play one sport over another if that kid wants to play more than one sport. The kids only get to go through high school one time.

How many young kids are suiting up for the Hounds? We have all heard about Foley and Mills, but are any of the other talented Freshman still with the program? I also heard Eggan and several of the sophomore are not playing this season. Hounds need to get in the ears of some of the younger players and get them interested in Redhound football or times could be lean in a couple of seasons.
