"No TV or radio" strike. (At least for tonight). A loss tonight and the "strike" will continue.

On the Weathers issue, I don't think he would still be around if he wasn' t of some value to the team, but like I posted earlier, don't think he is deserving of the pressure situations at this point... I thought they would run Bray back out for the ninth.... Seems he has been pitching really well since being recalled...

So if a team is within 5 games with three months to play then their season is over?

 

I think at some point you have to get closer than that to be considered a real threat. Yes, teams can make up that much of a deficit but the Reds really aren't working with a 162 game season. If they aren't closer than that by the middle of next month the pressure will really be on Jocketty to break the team down. When that happens it will likely balloon to a huge deficit in a hurry.
