After posting a 7.58 ERA in his first four starts, Badenhop allowed two runs, five hits, one walk and struck out a career-high seven in 5 2-3 innings of a 6-2 victory over Milwaukee on Wednesday. The right-hander now looks to improve his pitching on the road, where he is 0-2 with a 9.00 ERA in two starts. This will be his first career start against Cincinnati. The Reds counter with Aaron Harang (1-5, 3.09), who looks to win his first game in a month and avoid matching a career-worst four-start losing streak. In his last four starts, Harang has a 2.86 ERA, but has received only three total runs of support in those games. On Tuesday, the Reds’ staff ace allowed three runs and seven hits in seven innings of a 3-0 loss to the Chicago Cubs. The only time Harang has lost four consecutive starts was from June 4-20, 2005. I am so sicked and tired of seeing Patterson's name in the lineup. Dunn's going to see even more good pitches to hit that far down in the lineup. I like Dusty's thinking on this one. :rolleyes:

May 13, 200818 yr So the Reds do give Harang a little bit of run support, but Harang hasn't pitched his best tonight. If it's not one thing, it's the other. It was mentioned on the radio side why Cantu wasn't kept, my guess is that had no place to play him. You figured Gonzalez would have been healthy to start the year, if he wasn't they had Keppinger. Already have E-5, Phillips and Votto. No place for Cantu.
