It is time for Homer. Not Bruce unless you move Junior back to CF...

Bruce is playing a lot of CF in Louisville. Why can't he do it at the ML level for a few months?

The Reds CF is going to hit leadoff this year. I don't want Bruce out of position AND out of his comfort zone in the batting order...

Meanwhile in Louisville, Bruce has hit a 3 run homer (#6), while Bailey has struggled a bit, giving up 2 ER over 4 innings.

Why does the CF have to bat leadoff. That's just idiotic. I realize Dusty has said that, but if he gets new personel, then he has to adjust. Let me help him.

Nope. What don't you like about it?

If he's going to be in the bigs, then he can, and will adjust. Him playing CF and batting anywhere, is better than any option the Reds have right now.

If he comes up, is forced out of his comfort zone and slumps this town will not wait a second to call him a bust and unleash the overrated cries. Think he's ready for all of that? Why risk finding out at this point IMO...

Keppinger, SS

Dunn, LF

Phillips, 2B

Encarnacion, 3B

Griffey, RF

Votto, 1B

Bruce, CF

Bako/Ross/Valentin, C

Why not hit Dunn in the two spot? He draws walks and gets on base and, as Reds fans can attest, isn't the most reliable RBI guy in the middle of the order. Hit Bruce seventh to start to "take the pressure off of him" and move him up accordingly as his performance warrants.

Good gosh, he's a big-time prospect, not some 12-year-old kid.

If Bruce is ready to play in the big leagues, there's no reason not to bring him up.

You're starting to sound like me ...

I guess you missed the 6 weeks last year that saw Homer Bailey go from best prospect in baseball to a guy most wanted traded. I guess I forgot every can't miss prospect just jumps right in at the big league level and blows people away when playing somewhat out of position and misplaced in the batting order...
