Colts' Marvin Harrison allegedly involved in shooting

More to come, it is on ESPN right now

At a tavern that he owns, allegedly Marvin was shooting some patron who had caused problems earlier .50 cals out of a custom made Belgium hand gun. The guys hand was grazed and a girl got hit by a stray bullet.

Next day they found his gun, and he claims he had never taken it out of his home.

Wow. Would have never thought he would do something like this (allegedly).

Where are all you who said Chad needs to act like Harrison? Who would've thought shooting people is the right way to handle yourself....

I find it funny that everyone says the gun isn't their's. and when it comes out that it is they're like, oh it must have been stolen. Please....

LOL... This was my exact first thought!.... Everyone sees people on TV so they think they know how they are. Fact of the matter is Chad is immature and a show off, but off the field he's a homebody who plays video games and is lonely. People think because Marvin Harrison isn't a "flashy" player that he is a model citizen; that has always cracked me up.

Police then went to a Philadelphia car wash owned by Harrison to question him about the gun. Harrison admitted owning such a weapon, but claimed it never left his suburban Philadelphia home.

However, the source said the gun was discovered in a bucket at the car wash, and tests showed that it had fired seven bullets that matched those found at the scene.

Just unbelievable.

Will be very interesting to see how all this shakes out. Can you imagine something like this ending his career. Just sad, sad IF true.

Never would have thought this would happen to Harrison.

Quick to judge huh? Most people now consider those in the news guilty before innocent, instead of the opposite.

It does seem like something fishy is going on but who knows what actually happened. This is all pretty crazy.

Why couldn't the victims identify a shooter? I'm sure they knew who Harrison was. It must have been him though, since they found the gun at his car wash. All of this is weird.

Harrison apparently owns FIFTY custom rifles and handguns.

I was shocked to hear this as I've always thought of Harrison as a quiet, reserved guy. Sad to see such a great image and role model that has been built over the course of a career torn down in the span of a few days.

Don't mess with the quiet ones...a guy like Chad is all bark and no bite. Marvin Harrison is...well...

...just don't mess with him.

Seriously, this is a shock. Obviously, we don't know all the details now, but I wonder how Goodell will handle this situation if it turns out that Harrison is in trouble...

I'm not going to judge this one until more comes out. Marvin has always seemed like a solid guy. I am pretty shocked that he owns that many guns. I know there are hobbies but that is suprising to me. Sounds like he's guilty but I'm with HB that I think people would have known who he was?

Again, just curious, and I'm not saying you don't have good reasons for thinking this, but why does everyone think Marvin is such a good guy? I'm legitimately interested in whether people have had personal experience with him or know someone who has, or if it's just his usual demeanor on the field and during interviews and so on.
