May 3, 200818 yr Did anyone see the interview on Sportscenter with the Philly radio guy? He said Marvin Harrison has 25 guns registered to him. Collector or not, that sounds odd and extreme.
May 3, 200818 yr Again, just curious, and I'm not saying you don't have good reasons for thinking this, but why does everyone think Marvin is such a good guy? I'm legitimately interested in whether people have had personal experience with him or know someone who has, or if it's just his usual demeanor on the field and during interviews and so on. That's why I always assumed he was an alright guy...basically all we have to go on with these guys is what we see of them on the field and in football related interviews, combined with what we do or do not hear about them regarding off-field stuff. In Harrison's case, there were never any off-field issues, he never complained, never was a showboat on the field...he just seemed like a guy who done his job, kept his mouth shut and took care of business. I realize that we don't know any of these guys, but it's still surprising when a guy like Harrison suddenly blows up like Pac Man Jones after 10+ years in the league without so much as a hint of trouble. It just goes to show how big of a role the media plays in the perception of these players...and while we can't really help but to form some opinion of them based on what we get, we should always remember there's a lot more that we don't get.

That's what people think he did already. His case is also hurt by his past mistakes that have been brought to light. I'm not saying he's guilty, I'm saying everyone thinks he is.
