June 30, 200818 yr I read that he actually looked hurt but as I said earlier I wasn't watching. It sounds like a good show. I still think Cena came back to early, what looked wrong with him? wasn't his injury supposed to sideline him for 8-12 months.
June 30, 200818 yr wasn't his injury supposed to sideline him for 8-12 months. Yep, I think he came back a good 3 months early.
June 30, 200818 yr Yep, I think he came back a good 3 months early. Yes I called it to, and hated every second of it.
July 1, 200818 yr CM Punk is now World Heavyweight Champion, cashing in the Money in the Bank to face Edge after Batista had attacked him. The match lasted about 10 seconds. Way to solidify the belt's worth guys.
July 1, 200818 yr Wow! Edge came out to ruin JR's farewell address and as Edge was leaving Batista came out to finish what he started last night. After hitting a Batista Bomb, CM Punk runs out to cash in the Money in the Bank. Boom! Go to Sleep and CM Punk is the new Heavyweight Champion! Raw does have a belt! After all that happened last night, I completely forgot that Punk had the MITB briefcase.
July 8, 200818 yr Author Huge match tonight. Fatal Four Way for the number one contender to the World Heavyweight Title. Cena vs Batista vs JBL vs Kane.
July 8, 200818 yr Wow..Kane Snapped! what was he flipping out about? Who is he talking about when he was asking.... Is he dead or alive?
July 8, 200818 yr Katie Fick!!! The Katie Vick storyline was one of the worst things I've ever seen in wrestling, and it was around that time that me and a lot of my friends walked away from being regulars watching RAW. Kane at the time was really popular with the fan base, and that storyline completely blunted his momentum and was completely dead by the time he lost to HHH. That was the time where HHH was really exerting his influence backstage, pretty much telling Vince that he shouldn't drop the belt to this guy or that guy because he was better than them, despite how over with the fans the other guy was. Examples of that were Kane, Booker T, and RVD, with the latter two taking years to get back that momentum and as far as I can tell, Kane never has.

I have no doubt that this was one of the top 5 worst storylines in the history of wrestling. I can particularly remember HHH getting in a casket with a "dead corpse" and saying some crazy stuff. That almost destroyed me on wrestling, as well.
July 8, 200818 yr So was this Kane's Girlfriend? Read through this RAW report from 2002 and it should answer any questions you might have concerning this storyline. It was pretty ridiculous: http://rajah.com/wwf/raw/103.php
July 8, 200818 yr Here are a few reviews that I found from that particular show: I attended the RAW show last night and thought it was ok. Not one of the best by far but pretty good. My only complaint was the HHH casket bit. It was very tacky and tasteless. The writers have to realize that small children, I had two setting on either side of me, watch the show too. A little sexual innuendo is ok but that sketch when above and beyond that. Hopefully, the writers will get their heads on straight and something as tacky as this will not happen again. The HHH/casket scene was disgusting, and not funny in the least. I think Vince has finally joined the land of the funny-farm people. You have got to be kidding. I thought last week was crossing the line, with the "sex after she was dead" crack, but this week went far beyond bad taste. As I was watching the show, I thought to myself "How much lower is this going to go?" The whole vignette with Triple H as Kane was probably the worst thing WWE ever did.
