August 4, 200818 yr Just in: Ric Flair has parted ways with the WWE. Yes, I know he retired back at Wrestlemania, but he was still under contract with the WWE and that was keeping him from doing appearances and signings at independent shows. Because of this, Flair and WWE both agreed to part ways. *Personally, I think Flair just wants to make some more money off of appearances and signings with these independent places and once the hype of his retirement is over he will return to work with the WWE.
August 4, 200818 yr Summerslam looks like a blockbuster so far with Cena vs Batista, HHH vs Khali for the WWE title, Edge vs Undertaker in a Hell in a Cell, and Mark Henry vs Matt Hardy for the ECW title. I'd expect CM Punk's oponent for the World title will be announced tomorrow night on Raw. Look for Punk's opponent to be JBL. I don't know why WWE is promoting JBL so much. IMO, he's not a top superstar.

He is the World Heavyweight Champion but yet he appears at the midway point of Raw instead of the main event. And for the upcoming PPV they are 3 bigger matches than the Word title match (taker-edge, hhh-khali, batista-cena). It was obvious by last nights live crowd that he was way over so either book him as such or get the title off him.

August 5, 200818 yr The reason why JBL is getting so much time on the screen is because people don't like him. The WWE NEEDS more wrestlers like JBL because he's a heel. More heel vs. face matches are needed instead of everyone liking everyone and let's go wrestle. There are WAY TOO MANY faces in WWE right now and until more wrestlers turn heel, I think the shows will continue to be boring.

August 5, 200818 yr Rumor that Santino will become the Women's Champion, lol. I can see that happening. Not really a rumor but just a thought...HBK will retire sometime in the near future will HHH being his final opponent. Kind of like HBK & Ric Flair battling it out in Flairs last match.

August 6, 200818 yr Unless Shawn is injured, I have a hard time seeing him retiring yet. He still performs at a quite high level. I do know that whenever he leaves, one of the major ties I have to wrestling will be gone. He's the only, and I mean only, star that I would still pay to see in person or on TV.
