They were interviewing O'Reilly this morning of Fox and Friends and it will be a two part interview to air on Wednesday and Thursday. He took calls from listeners during yesterday's radio show and it is where he will be drawing his questions. Said he has about 15 questions to ask... no "gotcha" questions as he likes to say where you trick politicians in to admitting they did or said something wrong 35 years ago, he will not bring up Whitewater or Lewinsky. Strictly about this election and what she will do if elected on the domestic and foreign fronts.

 

McCain is scheduled to appear on The Factor next week.

 

O'Reilly had Karl Rove on his show last night (thanks to this thread, I thought Hillary was going to be on last night so I started watching for the first time in ages), but I digress...

 

O'Reilly asked Rove if he had an recommendations for a question for Hillary and I thought he had a good one. Rove said that Hillary came into the senate originally and reached out across party lines to work with Republicans, yet she has allowed Obama to use the "bringing people together" line as a big driving point without mentioning any of her work? Basically, why has she given him a free ride on that issue?

Except for thinking she would have the nomination wrapped up by super Tuesday, I don't think Hillary gets caught unprepared too often.

I doubt she'll be getting any surprise questions, but I could be wrong. I have my doubts about here agreeing to go on without some "guidelines". I could be wrong though...

She was on Bob and Tom this morning, but I missed it. Obama is supposed to be on tomorrow. McCain later. That's enough to make me not want to vote for any of them.

This is a win win for Hillary. If she gets beat up, (which I don't think she will) it will simply look like Fox News right wing bully playing nasty. If she does well, its good for her. Either way it is a GREAT strategy. She will not be catering to the Fox News crowd as much as she all be putting her self out as the fighting voice of the left wing. O'Riley is not that clever really, he simply intimidates people, Clinton will do fine if she gets him riled up but keeps to her points, Jeanine Garafelo (sp?) went on O'Riley a few years back and held her own, I think Clinton is making a smart move.

From some of O'Reilly's previous comments about Clinton and how badly he wanted her to come on his show, it seems he isn't going to be too tough on her. I think one of Hillary's strongest attributes in this election has been her debate performances; she's good at answering questions. A Factor appearance is win-win for her.

I have only seen O'Reilly well prepared for one major interview and it was on Tim Russert's MSNBC show. He delivered a merciless beatdown to Paul Krugman, who had been delivering serial insults against O'Reilly in his column. Krugman appeared to be on the verge of tears by the end of the show.

Apparently, you have to get O'Reilly really angry to get him to prepare in advance for an interview. Hillary will do fine on his show and so will Obama because O'Reilly wants to show how "fair" he is and he does not want to scare off other potential ratings boosters.

I am not sure if it is a deliberate attempt to be fair or that he is too lazy to prepare for a tough interview unless he is provoked. :lol:

 

O'Reilly is a very capable interviewer when he wants to be, he just does not seem to want to be very often, IMO. I enjoy his show most when a guest host fills in for him.

^I imagine Clinton isn't going to agree to go on the show and get grilled, but I could be wrong. My guess is they agree beforehand on questions, or the types of questions, but I may be wrong on that.

Will she interview with Hannity?

I think he would be a little tougher with his questions than O'Reilly.
