May 4, 200818 yr That god that's over. 9-1 bad guys. Guaranteed losing road trip. Again! Man these guys are pitiful Arroyo goes tomorrow, it could get even worse. Although the Cubs aren't playing well at all right now, even with today's win, so maybe the Reds can find themselves again during that series starting Monday in Cincinnati.
May 4, 200818 yr At the beginning of the year I started the original Track the Reds thread because the people who had started it the past two year simply didn't get the job done. We decided to start a new thread each week so the thread doesn't go on for hundres and hundreds of pages. I asked GT to start the new one each week after I closed the previously week's thread. Boy, was that a huge mistake. Let's just take a look at who started each week's thread, and the Reds record that week. Week One- LRCW- Reds 4-2 Week Two- Gametime- Reds 2-5 Week Three- Gametime- Reds 2-4 Week Four- HammerTime- The Reds are currently 2-4, looking at 3-4 or 2-5. Needless to say, I'll take care of starting next week's thread.:lol: Original Rookie decides to be a funny guy after I tell no one else to start last week's thread, hasn't even been in the thread since 4/30/08, and can do no better than 2-4. All of those in favor of blackballing Original Rookie from the Reds thread please say I. :irked:

May 4, 200818 yr I hope you are online at 12:01am tomorrow night LRCW, cause I'm starting the next "Track the Reds" thread.

May 4, 200818 yr When the signing of Cordero became official.... Dusty did the same thing in his prior (no pun intended) two stops. Get the bullpen in order with FA signings. Some panned out and some just panned. If Cordero gets 48 saves, he may be the first reliever in a while to save 75% of his team's wins in a season. Cubs fans nervous? Check... Not this one. The Brewers lost Jenkins and Cordero and picked up Jason Kendall. No one else in the division has done much of anything. Believe me, I'm not nervous about the Reds right now. Good news in my book. The arrogance of a team fighting off a 100 year drought is overlooking ANYONE? Fantastic... I may have been a little off with the 75% prediction. Right now, four saves of the 12 Reds wins (33%). A lot of people will look at the saves numbers and proclaim the Cordero signing a bust, but it ain't his fault. And I'm still not nervous about the Reds
May 4, 200818 yr Glavine is 27-12 with a 3.34 ERA in 48 career starts against the Reds, including 2-0 with a 2.21 ERA in his last three games against them. The Reds will send Bronson Arroyo (1-3, 6.97) to the mound, hoping the right-hander can build on his first win in nine starts dating to last September. The right-hander allowed three runs in six innings of a 4-3 win at St. Louis on Monday. Arroyo is 4-1 with a 4.40 ERA in nine career games - eight starts - against the Braves. http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/preview?gid=280504115

May 4, 200818 yr Any Chance that Bailey gets called up for Belise Belisle hasn't pitched great in his last two starts, but he has gotten better. I think the only chance Bailey has if Cueto struggles in a couple more starts. Maybe Arroyo will make that decision easier if he pitches poorly in a few more games. Either way the Reds are a huge mess.
May 4, 200818 yr Any Chance that Bailey gets called up for Belise Belisle was actually decent last night.
