May 2, 200818 yr Have you looked at the plan, this is for teh suites like I said not for the common fan. FACT, 20,000 fans is nothing compared to the revnue that the suites will bring each year. FACT, they're adding more of every kind of seat. Supply and demand dictates that more seats means it will be easier and cheaper to get a seat. Some that were in regular seats might now move up to luxury suites or the lodge seating. A rising tide lifts all boats here.:thumb:

May 3, 200818 yr The fan base is only up because of their fairly recent success, which has drawn those young people, who I call Bandwagoners, however, if the program continues to stay stable or improve only slightly, this stadium will cost more to run than they will get in return. Even 10 years ago, UofL didn't have the following they do now, it has all happened within the last 5-6 years that took off statewide. There are a lot of people who wear their red and white around all around KY, but if they don't continue to win like they have the past 6 years (which is real hard to do) then the support won't be there either. I think the big UofL boom started when they beat FSU in the rain game. That is when I noticed a lot of younger people really noticing the Cardinals in EKY.

Maybe for the UK game.Louisville (right now) wouldn't fill it every game, but do it twice a year and it equals an extra home game to the current capacity. Games against WVU are going to be sellouts for the immediate future, for example. UK, big-name OOC games like against Miami, get IU on the schedule, it's not that hard to have it happen two or three times a year.

May 3, 200818 yr It was $360 for 10 rows back behind UofL last year against Rutgers, a ticket. I'm glad I wasn't buying. That is offensive.

The first year’s annual donation will be $2,000 per seat. This annual seat donation is 80% tax deductible. A $2,500 deposit (which is deducted from the initial gift) is due to reserve your seats. So let's assume I have four tickets in the cheapest part of the new Loge level. Here's what I have to pay this year: $7,500*4 seats= $30,000 PLUS $2,000*4 seats= $8,000 PLUS Ticket prices times 4 (seats) times 8 (games). I have no idea how people can afford this.
