April 23, 200818 yr Good Lord how has this list made it this far without someone mentioning Bob Dylan or Tom Petty. Now I can listen to some Tom Petty, but his voice still stinks. Dylan on the other hand, that is vomit inducing! You do realize that we're in the minority!! But I wholeheartedly agree. I also have a problem with Josh Grobin (sp?) He wears me out!

April 23, 200818 yr I don't know how old you are and I fully admit that I have never heard that song but in the 70's there was a song called "Brand New Key" :fight: That thing had to be the most "fingers across chalkboard" annoying song ever, nothing else close. The singer I believe was "Melanie", just as terrible as that song. Should we have any other "children of the 70's" maybe you can remember this. Was that the "brand new roller skates, brand new key" song? Is it Josh Grobin that sings "You raise me up"? Same four lines over and over, wears me out. Did he write that song, too? If so, not much of a songwriter. Put him on my list allong with Celine Dion and Michael Bolton. What about Joe Cocker? He's painful to watch as well.

April 23, 200818 yr I agree. Although John Mayer isn't my cup of tea, I still think he's quite the skilled guitarist. But as Italian Stallion stated, "might be the best modern guitarist," thats subjective nonetheless, but no. Zakk Wylde gets that title. :thumb: Hands down, no argument needed.

April 24, 200818 yr My list would be hard to name just 10 so I will say take your pick of anyone that ever was or ever will be in "Rap" or "Hip Hop" (if they call rap singing). Also, just about any of the brain fried members of the hard rock/heavy metal society. (if they call screaming singing). I didn't list any of these, only because I refuse to ever listen to more than two or three words before changing the channel. I don't even consider it music. Thanks for reminding me!:creepy::creepy:
