That was the key, Dusty mentioned it in the pre-game, with the Reds having no experience against this starter. Make adjustments after the first time through the order, be patient and sure enough, look what happened.

Yep, I think it's safe to say that tonight is the Reds night AND Hatteberg will be traded within the next two weeks.

I've been waiting for Hatte to be gone so I think this is great that Votto is doing the job he is.

 

BTW did you see Volquez rope that ball? It was right at Pierre but it was a laser.

Doesn't look like the same team we've been seeing... at least tonight anyways.

 

They seem to have these games every couple days where everything seems to go right and then the next day they are back to crap again.

 

Playing the Astros and Giants the next 5 games, you would hope that maybe they can put something together.
