He has the ability to actually tell a story with his songs, unlike some of the "rap" that is out there today. I'd also have to put Tupac in the list of all time best rappers.

He rhymes well, but the moral/story of the songs I've heard on the radio are silly.
April 20, 200818 yr I think the fact that Nelly, Chingy, 2 Live Crew, Master P, Puff Daddy, and probably even Mike Jones are on this list takes away any credit I may have given. However, there are a few pretty funny names on there, but there are many worse rappers than the ones above. By the way, I am caucasian and from the middle of Eastern Kentucky, and I will still say that rap is definately a form of music and takes alot of talent. I don't necessarily like all of it, but there is alot more involved than just making noise. Most music majors will tell you that it is NOT music. That it is just good for guys with big subs in their vehicles.

April 20, 200818 yr Any rapper is horrible. Rap is not music at all, it is for people that can't sing. I can't even understand any of the words to it. Its the worst noise I've ever heard. Those are words from a person who has never given it a chance. Most stuff out these days is absolute garbage, its true, but its because its party music that just sounds cool. There is no substance behind it, but like PutMeInCoach said, Eminem is a genius. He is the best hip-hop lyricist I've every heard, and there are others like him in the field, but its rare. If you'd take the time to actually read through and understand what the best rappers are saying in their songs you'd be blown away. But there are so many bad apples out there I can understand why people don't give anyone a chance. O and for the record Mick Jagger is the worst singer I've every heard. He cannot sing. At all. But its still music...
