June 10, 200818 yr Why is it up to them what is music or not. Even if they major in it. It has to be music if Billions of people are into it. Billions of people are into it? And even if they are, that makes it music? That alone? I'm not sure what I'd call hip/hop. I definitely think it takes more work and talent to write and play a song on actual instruments, but I still think hip/hop beats are "music".
June 10, 200818 yr Who in the world are 22-24, 15, 12 & 10? I will probably get blasted for saying this, but I have to say Lil Wayne. He is absurd. I have heard a few of his songs, and they were filled with filth. I can't understand why young kids like him so much? Every other word is F and B and Wh ... I was expecting a coment like this from someone with a Sean Hannity avatar!

My point was that it is music, it is good to listen to if you are into it. Just because it uses more beats then instruments doesn't mean it's not music. I was obviously just throwing a number(billions)out there to get the point across.
